Off-Road Adventure Tour

Let us take you on an amazing, guided off-roading adventure!  Ride through a beautiful rainforest, splash through rivers, explore an ancient glacier riverbed while being blown away by the breath-taking scenery including the spectacular Southern Alps and Franz Josef Glacier.

Your guide will kit you out with wet weather gear and gumboots and teach you how to ride our off-roading vehicles. 

Either take a single quad bike all to yourself - or take a double quad bike and bring a passenger along for the ride!  Choose our three-seater buggies that can fit two adults and one child, or just 2 passengers as a double quad.

Booking a Double Quad Bike or Buggy: 

When booking a double quad bike, 1 bike is booked for 2 people.  (Ie: If you book 2 bikes, that will be for 4 people).  

Please be aware of our Off-Road activity terms & conditions: 

• For safety reasons, drivers and passengers do not get to swap during the tour.

• Customers must pass a test track prior to taking part in the tour.

• Failing the test track: If you do fail the test track, we do our best to accommodate becoming a passenger or driving a buggy (if these bikes are available). If different bike types are not available, participants cannot join the tour. Refunds cannot be provided in these cases.

• Drivers must be a minimum of 16 years.

• Drivers must be a minimum 18 years old in order to have a passenger join them.

• Quad bike passengers must be able to reach the footrests (this requires a minimum height of 145 cm).

• Buggy passengers must be a minimum height of 110 cm.

Please ensure children are measured prior to arrival! Refunds cannot be provided on arrival for any children that do not reach height requirements.

• A combined weight limit of 220kg exists for double bikes.

• Customers may be liable for up to $1000 NZD quad bike equipment damage, if damages sustained on the tour are due to careless driving or by not adhering to our tour regulations.
